On Friday, November 3, 2017 WRIF begins its fall WRIF 365 programs with the courtroom documentary, The Uncondemned, the against-the-odds story of a team of legal underdogs who changed international judicial history. The film shows at 7:30 p.m. at the Briggs Opera House. Co-director and award-winning investigative reporter Michele Mitchell will be present for audience Q&A following the screening.
WRIF 365 will continue December 1, 2017 with a program honoring the late Howard Frank Mosher, Vermont novelist and inspiration for four features and one short film by filmmaker Jay Craven. Now in its second year, WRIF 365 will continue screening its trademark indie films at the Briggs Opera House on a monthly or bimonthly basis, before we gear up for our annual festival, which takes place May 30–June 3, 2018.
