Seeing Through The Wall is about the barriers that separate Palestinians and Israelis—walls of concrete, of mistrust, of ignorance and fear. In this thought-provoking film, Woodstock Director Macksoud and Tunbridge Cinematographer Michael Sacca follow a group of Americans to Israel and Palestine as they seek to understand what life is like for Palestinians in the Occupied Territories and East Jerusalem. Along with their trip leader, Rabbi Dov Taylor, the visitors meet with Jews and Christians and Muslims, each with their own narrative, most wishing to live in peace. For these Americans, the journey becomes an intense encounter not only with people they meet, but with their own preconceptions—an experience that is transformative.
